땅에서 태어나 땅으로 돌아가는 반복적 인생을 표현한 것으로 사람들이 태어난 땅을 뛰어넘어 자유로운 하늘로 가기 위한 인생의 욕망을 나무로 표현했다.
땅에서 태어난 무수한 비슷한 사람들이 비슷한 사람을 밟고 서서 하늘로 가고 싶어 하는 용망과 쾌락을 반복적인 나뭇가지로 형상화한 작품이다. ;
