금줄[禁줄]

부정(不淨)을 막기 위하여 문이나
길 어귀에 건너질러 매거나 신성(神聖)한 대상물에 매는 새끼줄.
우리 조상들이 악귀를 몰아내고 가족과 마을을 보호하기 위한 의미를 담은 전통 풍습을 표현했다.
